What the explorer is actually showing
The cape explorer groups official and community cape surfaces, tracks observed-owner counts, and lets you intersect multiple capes to find players wearing all selected items.
Observation counts reflect what MCProfiles has actually seen through its own lookup and archive flow, not a claim of universal ownership coverage across every Minecraft account.
Source labels and limits
Cape records keep official sources, observed ownership, and optional third-party enrichment separate so the UI does not imply certainty where only a snapshot exists.
If you need a policy or privacy path around a specific cape surface, use the public privacy controls before assuming the explorer is a permanent record.
