Minecraft cape lookup guide

Cape lookup is more useful when each result explains whether it is official, observed, or claimed, and when the page links to the cape itself instead of leaving everything trapped in one index.

Official, observed, and claimed are not the same thing

An official cape is a real Mojang or event cape. An observed owner is a player MCProfiles saw wearing that cape. A claimed owner can also include an indexed third-party confirmation path for official capes.

Keeping those states separate makes the page more useful for collectors and less misleading for casual visitors.

Use the cape detail pages

The cape explorer is a directory, but the detail page is the entity page: provenance, owner count, recent sightings, and related profiles all belong there. That is the part search engines can understand and users can share.
